The company is currently searching for a proactive and detail-oriented purchasing administrator to join their dynamic Trading team. You will be involved in supporting all aspects of the purchasing process, including order placement, inventory control and vendor coordination. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, vendors and internal departments to ensure the timely procurement of goods and services, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all purchasing activities.
Responsibilities
• Process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications, pricing and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to guarantee prompt and efficient delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, receipts, invoices, pricing details and product ranges.
• Monitor inventory levels and work proactively with suppliers to ensure stock availability meets operational needs.
• Address queries from internal teams regarding order status, delivery schedules and procurement details.
• Generate regular reports on purchasing activities and inventory performance.
• Ensure all procurement practices comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional administrative and support tasks as required by the trading department.
Requirements
• Experience in a comparable role, demonstrating consistent performance and growth.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of identifying and resolving complex issues.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration across teams.
• Capable of working independently while also thriving in team-oriented environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly detail-oriented and organised, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced settings, maintaining focus and delivering results under pressure.
