As a Flatbed Rigid Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. You will be responsible for operating a flatbed rigid truck, transporting various materials, and ensuring all loads are properly secured and compliant with road safety regulations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent time management skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:
• Operate a flatbed rigid truck safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with road safety regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload goods as required, ensuring care is taken to avoid damage.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Communicate effectively with the transport manager and other team members.
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.

Requirements:
• Valid Category C driving licence.
• Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Proven experience as a flatbed rigid driver.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Good physical health and the ability to handle heavy loads.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A professional and courteous attitude towards customers and colleagues.
