Head of Supply Chain Transformation
Opportunity for an experienced Head of Supply Chain Transformation professional to join an established organisation based in North Dublin. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to drive strategic improvements, optimise supply chain operations and deliver meaningful organisational change across a complex, fast-paced distribution environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of supply chain operations, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and introduce smarter ways of working. This position requires a commercially minded leader who combines strong operational knowledge with the ability to deliver large-scale transformation projects, influence senior stakeholders and develop high-performing teams.
This position would suit an experienced Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain Transformation Director, Senior Operations Manager or Logistics Transformation Leader seeking an opportunity to make a genuine impact within a large and established organisation.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver supply chain transformation strategies to improve operational performance.
• Lead improvement initiatives across warehousing, logistics, inventory and distribution.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve service delivery.
• Drive systems optimisation, automation and digital transformation projects.
• Manage cross-functional projects, budgets and key performance indicators.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to implement operational improvements.
• Lead and develop teams, promoting continuous improvement and accountability.
• Ensure transformation projects deliver measurable business results.
Requirements
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or distribution, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience delivering operational transformation and improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and supply chain systems.
• Experience with ERP, WMS and process optimisation.
• Strong financial, budget management and commercial skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant third-level qualification desirable.
