Manufacturing Operator

Globally recognised company based in South Dublin is currently seeking a full-time Manufacturing Operator to join their team on a permanent contract. This role offers a fantastic weekday schedule with early finishes on Fridays. You must hold a valid counterbalance and manual handling certificate to be considered for this role. This is an ideal role if you have experience in manufacturing or process operations, particularly in ensuring process and formulas are followed to meet customer requirements.

In this role, you will be part of the warehouse team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock using the counterbalance forklift. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing inventory, handling goods, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. You will also be expected to support various warehouse operations, including picking, packing, assisting in the goods-in department, managing inventory, and working across both inbound and outbound sections to ensure smooth workflow.

The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, along with familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process custom product batches according to customer specifications and deadlines.
• Operate the counterbalance to assist the goods in departments to unload incoming goods.
• Perform quality checks and make necessary adjustments to meet the required standards.
• Use computer systems to track production data.
• Follow all safety, hazardous material handling, and waste minimisation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritise daily workload and meet production targets.
• Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing items for dispatch, and taking part in inventory control tasks when required.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Counterbalance forklift certificate necessary.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft office including excel and word.
• Manual handling certificate is an advantage.
