Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Join a leading logistics company based in Dublin Southwest, specialising in the efficient handling and distribution of goods. This role requires a skilled PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Operative who is adept at navigating warehouse environments safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will contribute to the effective operation of the warehouse, ensuring all orders are executed to the highest standards.
As a PPT Operative, you will be integral to the team, responsible for the movement of goods within a busy warehouse setting. This position demands precision, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to safety protocols to maintain a streamlined workflow and contribute to the overall efficiency of operations.
Responsibilities:
• Operate powered pallet trucks (PPT) and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
• Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
• Following stock control procedures and ensuring that all items are correctly logged.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure a seamless operation.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a PPT Operative or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
• Valid certification to operate powered pallet trucks.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and storage methods.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
