Salary: €35,000-€40,000

You will be responsible for keeping the buying function running efficiently by helping to identify, source and secure the right products that support customer expectations and commercial targets. You’ll assist with supplier communication, monitor stock levels, review sales performance and manage key administrative duties to maintain an organised buying cycle. You will focus on ensuring strong product choices, accurate pricing and reliable stock availability while coordinating day to day tasks to support the team’s overall success.

Responsibilities
• Assist in spotting new opportunities for product innovation and expanding existing ranges.
• Collaborate with merchandising to identify assortment gaps, maintain strong availability and prioritise top performing lines.
• Track competitor activity and broader industry trends to help shape informed buying decisions.
• Work closely with the buyer to ensure all ranges support the company’s wider strategic direction.
• Build and nurture strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and favourable trading terms.
• Help manage supplier timelines and communications, ensuring on time deliveries and supporting the resolution of supply chain issues.
• Support ongoing supplier performance reviews to uphold quality, compliance and service expectations.
• Assist with planning and sourcing while keeping all reporting documents up to date.
• Help coordinate product launches and manage stock levels in partnership with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, product specifications and commercial agreements.
• Monitor sales trends and stock positions to understand product and category performance.
• Assist in preparing reports and insights that guide buying decisions and range adjustments.

Requirements
• Understanding of stock management, order flow and end to end supply chain coordination.
• Ability to oversee multiple products while managing deadlines effectively.
• Solid analytical capability to interpret sales data, stock performance and market insights.
• Delivery of sales growth and achievement of revenue targets.
• Effective inventory control, including healthy stock turnover, reduced aging stock, and low out of stock rates.
