You will oversee the procurement of goods and services essential to the organisation’s operations. Your responsibilities will include identifying and evaluating suppliers, reviewing pricing and quality and ensuring all purchasing activity adheres to company policies and budget requirements. You will prepare purchase orders, maintain accurate and organised records and track deliveries to ensure items arrive on time and meet the expected standards.
Responsibilities
• Manage the full lifecycle of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy from creation through to final completion.
• Build and sustain long term supplier partnerships that support operational and strategic objectives.
• Oversee vendor onboarding processes, ensuring all compliance standards, documentation and internal requirements are met.
• Monitor spending trends to ensure budgets are used effectively and deliver maximum value.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, performance reviews and continuous due diligence checks to maintain quality and reliability.
• Maintain organised and accurate procurement records, documentation, invoices and audit ready logs.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for cost reductions, process improvements and broader value creation.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms and service agreements to secure favourable and sustainable outcomes.
• Produce clear procurement reports and insights for senior leadership to support strategic planning and decision making.
• Coordinate day to day supplier communications and resolve issues promptly to keep operations running efficiently.
• Source, assess and qualify new and existing suppliers to support changing business needs and future growth.
Requirements
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, supported by strong analytical thinking and effective problem solving skills.
• Confident negotiator with clear communication abilities and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Highly organised, with excellent prioritisation and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in procurement systems and advanced in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, best practice procedures and regulatory expectations.
• Knowledgeable in procurement frameworks and compliance obligations, ensuring all activities meet statutory requirements.
