Role: QA Engineer (Hybrid/Remote)
Salary: €30,000 – €40,000
Duration: Permanent
Location: Dublin (Hybrid/Remote)

QA Engineer (Hybrid/Remote)

Exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer to join a leading IoT company specialising in supply chain logistics and manufacturing. As a QA Engineer, you will have a clear advantage if you possess experience with Cypress or Playwright. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Node.js, Linux, and Linux scripting is highly desirable. While this is primarily an automation testing position, candidates with a strong manual testing background are also encouraged to apply. This is an excellent chance to develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cypress or Playwright.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Manage and maintain test environments, including setup and configuration of Kubernetes clusters.
  • Perform manual testing where necessary to ensure product functionality meets specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance product quality.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, providing support and resolving issues as needed (one in every 6 or 7 weeks).
  • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Monitor and report on test execution progress and product quality metrics.

Requirements:

  • Experience in automation testing with Cypress or Playwright.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and experience in setting up and managing clusters.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Linux, and Linux scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with supply chain logistics and manufacturing processes is desirable.
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
