Excellent opportunity for an experienced Reach Forklift Driver to join a busy distribution centre based in Baldonnell, Dublin. This full-time Monday-to-Friday position operates from 8:00am to 5:30pm and would suit a reliable and safety-conscious warehouse professional who is comfortable operating reach forklifts within a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, efficiency and stock control.
Working as part of an established warehouse team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe movement, storage and replenishment of stock throughout the distribution centre. The role offers a competitive rate of €18.00 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours worked per week. A valid Reach Forklift Licence, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a busy warehouse operation are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
• Operate a Reach Forklift safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
• Load, unload, move and store stock in designated warehouse locations.
• Carry out pallet put-away and stock replenishment duties.
• Pick and transport products accurately to support customer orders.
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely within warehouse racking systems.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report any issues or defects.
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out activities.
• Maintain accurate stock movements in line with warehouse procedures.
• Work closely with warehouse colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
• Support stock counts and inventory control activities when required.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, safe and organised.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Handle products carefully to minimise damage and stock loss.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Contribute to an efficient and productive warehouse operation.
Requirements
• Valid Reach Forklift Licence is essential.
• Previous experience operating a Reach Forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Experience working within a fast-paced logistics, distribution or warehouse operation.
• Ability to work accurately while meeting productivity targets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Comfortable working at height using reach truck equipment.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow warehouse procedures and instructions.
• Experience using warehouse scanners or warehouse management systems would be advantageous.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to workload requirements.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Manual handling certificate
