Job Description

Role: Refrigeration Engineer
Salary: €25 per hour, paid weekly
Tax-free Subsistence: €75 per week
On-Call: 1 week in every 6 weeks, €300 on-call allowance
Schedule: Monday – Friday, with overtime available
Location: Mostly Dublin, with some country work as required

Refrigeration Engineer


Fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Refrigeration Engineer to join a progressive and dynamic company. Based mainly in Dublin, this position also offers occasional work in other parts of the country, giving you a balance of local and travel opportunities.

You will enjoy a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime. Additionally, the role includes participation in an on-call rota, where you will be on call for one week every six weeks, earning an extra €300 allowance for the period.

Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in a range of environments, primarily across Dublin.
• Diagnose and rectify system faults to ensure high efficiency and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide emergency service support during on-call periods, scheduled for one week in every six.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver top-tier service and smooth project completion.
• Keep up with industry best practices and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards.
• Maintain detailed records of service and maintenance tasks, communicating effectively with both clients and team members.

Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in refrigeration systems, with strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Relevant certifications (such as F-Gas) and a solid understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel when needed for country-based work.
• Capable of working both independently and within a team setting.
• Flexibility to participate in the on-call rotation every six weeks.
• Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and attention to detail.
• Eligible to work in Ireland, with all necessary permits and qualifications.
