Are you a rigid driver looking for the next step in your career?
Prestigious FMCG company based in Cork is looking to hire experienced Rigid Drivers to their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to drivers to become part of a forward-thinking company which cares for its employees through reasonable workloads and a competitive salary. As an ideal candidate, will hold a Full C-Class Irish or EU driver’s license, along with valid CPC and Tachograph cards. Familiarity with driving on the left side of the road and knowledge of Irish routes is a plus.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for multi-drop deliveries to clients throughout Cork and Munster. Strong communication skills in English are preferred for this role, as you’ll frequently interact with clients. This position offers a stable opportunity for growth within a respected company that plays a vital role in the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a rigid lorry safely to perform deliveries
- Unloading goods with care
- Talking with clients effectively
- Checking the vehicle before trips
- Planning routes pre delivery
- Following company rules and procedures
- Keeping the lorry clean and well-maintained
- Managing delivery schedules efficiently
Requirements:
- Valid C License
- CPC & Tachograph cards
- Previous experience operating rigid trucks
- Multi drop experience
- Commitment to safe and timely driving
- Ability to start work in the early hours of the morning
