Rigid Driver

Internationally recognized Fast Moving Consumer Goods company is seeking to add a skilled & enthusiastic rigid driver to their dedicated team in Cork. This role would require you to perform multidrop deliveries across Cork and Ireland, therefore previous experience performing multidrop deliveries in a rigid truck, and a working knowledge of Irish roads is preferred for this role.

As a successful candidate, you will be the holder of a valid C License, as well as up-to-date CPC & tachograph cards. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth running of operations for the company and their respective clients. Responsibilities:

• Safely driving a rigid lorry
• Unloading deliveries with care
• Planning routes to ensure optimal delivery speeds
• Vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Performing multi drop deliveries daily
• Obeying all traffic laws and regulations, as well as adhering to the company’s safety policy
• Having excellent time-management and arriving on time for drops.
• Maintaining good working relationships with customers.

Requirements:

• A valid C-class Irish or EU driver’s license and a tachograph card.
• Experience driving rigid trucks or similar vehicles.
• Exceptional time-management skills
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safe driving.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Solid English communication skills
