Salary: €30,000-€33,000 DOE
Duration: Full Time Contract
Location: Dublin South
Hours: Monday to Friday

Warehouse Operative

Logistics company based in South Dublin are searching for a skilled warehouse operative who holds a valid Bendi-forklift and/or Counterbalance Forklift certificate. This position offers a full-time permanent contract, which gives you a Monday to Friday work schedule and competitive salary to match your experience and skillset.

You will be an expert in operating both the bendy forklift and counterbalance to efficiently move stock throughout the warehouse, while also supporting the goods-in department by unloading products from incoming vehicles. In addition to these responsibilities, you will participate in a variety of warehouse activities including picking and packing products for dispatch and assist the inventory control team as needed.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will also be responsible for maintaining all forklifts and reporting any faults to management. Adhering to the company’s health and safety procedures is crucial, as following all policies is a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:
• Pick orders while operating the bendy forklift to perform outbound tasks.
• Take part with picking & packing activities to meet daily targets.
• Perform daily forklift checks and report any faults to management.
• Assist maintaining the warehouse while ensuring a safe working environment.
• Communicate with management and co-workers to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Load & unload customer goods from vehicles while operating the counterbalance forklift.

Requirements:
• Valid Bendi forklift licence a distinct advantage.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
• Counterbalance forklift certificate essential.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including, excel and word.
• Manual handling Certificate mandatory
