Salary: €28,000 – €30,000
Duration: Full-time
Location: Dublin 22
Hours: Monday-Friday: 08:30-17:00

Warehouse Operative

Leading supplier of building materials is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their team in Dublin 22. This full-time, permanent role offers hands-on experience with a company that has played a role in some of Ireland’s largest projects. Working Monday to Friday, you will benefit from ongoing support and opportunities of development. You must hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence and a current manual handling certificate.

As a warehouse operative, your primary responsibilities include accurately picking orders using Rf scanners. You will also be responsible for packing goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will support general warehouse operations by replenishing stock for fast-moving items and assisting with inventory control tasks. Additionally, you will operate the forklift to move stock throughout the warehouse and help the goods-in department unload incoming products.

Responsibilities:
• Receive and organise incoming goods and products.
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders for dispatch.
• Maintain inventory levels, ensuring all items are correctly labelled, packaged, and stored.
• Operate counterbalance forklift to assist with the movement of goods.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with the company’s safety procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork and update electronic inventory systems accurately.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Requirements:
• Counterbalance forklift required.
• Manual handling certificate.
• Knowledge of building material is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Trade Counter experience a distinct advantage.
