Warehouse Operative
In South Dublin, an exceptional vacancy has opened to join one of Ireland’s leading suppliers who are searching for an experienced warehouse operative who holds valid both counterbalance and reach truck licenses. This role offers convenient Monday to Friday daytime hours, weekly pay, and is easily accessible by public transport.
As a successful candidate, you will display your expertise in operating both counterbalance and reach truck with confidence. In this role you will also be expected to assist in general warehouse duties which include picking orders using rf scanners, packing goods for dispatch as well as assisting with inventory tasks when required. You will also be expected to follow the company’s stringent health and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and counterbalance forklifts to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.
• Picking and pack orders for dispatch using Rf Scanners.
• Maintaining regular communication with other departments.
• Adhere to the company’s health and safety guidelines.
• Using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory software as needed.
• Use the reach truck to assist with picking orders, replenishing stock from high racking locations, and consolidating stock.
Requirements:
• Previous experience with reach & counterbalance forklift operation and the required licenses.
• Manual handling certificate.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficient in heavy lifting and adept at performing manual labour tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent Communication Skills both Written and Verbal.
