Salary: €29,000-€32,000

Warehouse Operative

Leading distributor in North Dublin is looking to add a permanent Warehouse Operative to its team. You must hold a valid counterbalance forklift certificate and a Full EU Driver’s License to be considered for this position. This role offers a permanent Monday to Friday work schedule, with every second Saturday at a competitive overtime rate.

As a member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for expertly operating the forklift to safely load and unload goods for customers collections. You will be required to assist the inbound and outbound section when not operating the forklift your tasks can include anything from picking goods, packing products for dispatch, assistant the goods in department to receive stock into the warehouse.

This position offers an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced team where each day brings new challenges and variety. In addition to your core warehouse duties, you will occasionally be required to operate company vehicles to deliver goods to various branches, ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company professionally while adhering to all road safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
Conduct general warehouse tasks as needed, including picking and packing customer orders.
Operate the counterbalance forklift daily to load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels and promptly report any shortages or damages to the appropriate supervisor.
Accurately manage documentation related to goods movement and the returns process.
Adhere strictly to all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.
Support deliveries to various branches across Dublin, ensuring compliance with road safety regulations while operating the company vehicle.

Requirements:
Valid counterbalance forklift cert required.
Manual handling certificate preferred.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Physically able to handle loads of up to 20 kg.
Full EU B Driver’s License.
