Job Description

Role: ADR Rigid Driver

Salary: €620 gross per week
Duration: Permanent
Location: Ashbourne
Benefits: Meal allowance of €14 – €23 per day, additional €7.60 per drop after 10 drops, ADR certificate cost covered by the company (repayment required if leaving within 12 months).

Join a dynamic team in Ashbourne as an ADR Rigid Driver.  This role offers stability and the opportunity to grow within a reputable company committed to supporting its employees.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving rigid vehicles to deliver fuel safely and efficiently. While an ADR certificate is not essential, the company values its importance and is willing to invest in the right candidate by covering the certification cost. However, if you leave within 12 months, you would be required to repay the ADR course fee. This role includes a competitive meal allowance ranging from €14 to €23 per day and an additional €7.60 per drop after the first 10 drops, ensuring that hard work and extra efforts are well-rewarded.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate rigid vehicles to transport fuel.
  • Adhere to all road and safety regulations.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Accurately complete delivery paperwork and logs.
  • Deliver goods in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Handle goods with care to prevent damage.
  • Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.

Requirements:

  • Full C driving licence.
  • Valid tachograph card.
  • CPC certificate.
  • ADR certificate preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of fuel
  • Willingness to undertake ADR certification (cost covered by the company).
  • Commitment to repay the ADR course fee if leaving within 12 months.
