Airfreight Exports Coordinator
Oportunity for an experienced Airfreight Exports Coordinator to join a fast-paced and growing logistics team based in North Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of airfreight export operations, ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectations and international regulations.
As an Airfreight Exports Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating export shipments, working closely with customers, airlines, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations. The role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for logistics.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee airfreight export shipments from booking to final delivery.
• Prepare and process all required export documentation, including air waybills, customs declarations, and shipping instructions.
• Ensure compliance with international export regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Manage and resolve any discrepancies or challenges in the export process, ensuring minimal delays.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing and regulatory purposes.
• Collaborate with internal departments, including sales and operations, to streamline the export process.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in airfreight exports or a similar logistics role.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in export documentation and customs procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with logistics software.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of the airfreight industry and previous experience in a similar role in Ireland would be an advantage.
