Salary: €16 to €17 per hour
Duration: Permanent
Location: Dublin 12
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Counterbalance Forklift & Warehouse Operative
Major supplier within the construction and building materials sector is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join its warehouse team in Dublin 12. Working within a busy and high-performing warehouse environment, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety and productivity.
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift throughout the day, you’ll support goods-in, order fulfilment and stock movement activities while helping to maintain the smooth flow of warehouse operations. This position would suit someone who works well under pressure, has strong attention to detail and enjoys being part of a team.
Responsibilities
• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift throughout the warehouse.
• Move, store and replenish stock within designated locations.
• Support inbound and outbound warehouse activities.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for customer delivery.
• Load and unload stock as required.
• Complete stock transfers and inventory movements.
• Assist with cycle counts and stock accuracy checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.
• Report any damaged goods or stock discrepancies.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and warehouse standards.
Requirements
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Current Manual Handling Certificate.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
• Experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable and dependable approach to work.
• Good awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Strong communication skills.
