Job Description

Role: Artic Truck Driver (Night Shift)
Salary: €18.50 per hour
Meal Allowance: €15.40 per day, tax-free
Shift: Night shift (start times between 20:00 – 22:00 depending on route)
Location: Dublin South
Schedule: 5 days over 7
Minimum Hours: 8 hours paid per day

Artic Truck Driver (Night Shift)
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled drivers with a CE license and a passion for safe, efficient transportation. As an Artic Truck Driver, you’ll handle night-time routes in Dublin South, where every shift provides stability and structure. The role involves carefully scheduled start times between 20:00 and 22:00, depending on the specific route, and ensures a minimum of 8 hours of paid work per shift across a 5-day workweek. This role is ideal for professional drivers committed to high standards and a strong team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Safely operate an Artic truck across assigned routes during night shifts
• Complete scheduled deliveries on time, adhering to all traffic laws and company guidelines
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety compliance
• Collaborate with dispatchers to address any route adjustments
• Support loading and unloading processes, ensuring safe cargo handling
• Report incidents, delays, or operational issues promptly to the logistics team
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and upkeep as part of standard protocol

Requirements:
• Valid CE driving license
• Up-to-date Tachograph card and CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly night shifts and urban routes
• Solid understanding of road safety, particularly during night-time operations
• Strong time-management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability
• Physical readiness to handle occasional loading/unloading
• Clear communication skills for smooth interactions with dispatch and logistics teams
• Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate vehicle logs and records
