Recruitment Consultant – Warehouse & Transport Operations

Exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a growing recruitment business specialising in Warehouse, Logistics, Transport and Operational recruitment. This is a full 360° recruitment role offering the opportunity to manage and develop a busy desk, working with both new and existing clients across temporary, contract and permanent recruitment solutions.

This position is ideally suited to a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys building strong client relationships and is motivated by delivering exceptional results. The successful candidate will be experienced in managing the full recruitment lifecycle and confident in balancing business development activities with candidate attraction, account management and successful placements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting clients across warehouse, logistics and transport operations, recruiting for a broad range of positions from high-volume operational vacancies through to specialist and skilled appointments. This opportunity requires someone who is commercially minded, organised and capable of managing a busy desk independently while consistently delivering a high level of service to both clients and candidates.

Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy qualification through to placement and aftercare.
Develop new business opportunities and build long-term relationships with prospective clients.
Manage and grow existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and service levels.
Source, screen and interview candidates for temporary, contract and permanent vacancies.
Write engaging job advertisements and candidate marketing profiles to attract high-quality talent.
Build and maintain talent pipelines across warehouse, logistics, transport and operational disciplines.
Conduct candidate reference checks and ensure all compliance processes are completed accurately.
Coordinate interviews and manage the recruitment process through to successful placement.
Negotiate offers and manage onboarding activities.
Recruit for both high-volume operational positions and specialist skilled roles.
Maintain accurate records and activity updates within CRM and ATS systems.
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and candidates at every stage of the recruitment process.
Consistently work towards individual and team performance targets.

Requirements

Demonstrated success in agency recruitment.
Experienced in managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through to placement.
Able to manage a busy desk independently while maintaining high service standards.
Experience recruiting across temporary, contract and permanent vacancies.
Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling job advertisements and candidate marketing content.
Proven ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
Commercially focused with a strong understanding of recruitment performance metrics.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Positive, proactive and resilient approach to work.
Previous experience recruiting within warehouse, logistics, transport, industrial, manufacturing or operational sectors would be highly advantageous.
