Salary: €14.50-€14.85 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00

Counterbalance Forklift & Reach Truck Operator

Leading materials provider based in South Dublin are searching for an experienced warehouse operative who holds valid Counterbalance forklift and Reach Truck certificates. Under instructions of the management your daily duties will include operating both Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift in a safe and efficient manner. As an experienced warehouse operative, you will assist in warehouse operations by picking goods via the reach truck. You will also be expected to assist with yard duties such as loading and unloading material while using the Counterbalance forklift.

In this role you will also be expected to partake in general warehouse duties which will include picking, packing, assisting with inventory tasks when required. You will also be expected to comply with all health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Operate the counterbalance efficiently to load & unload goods in the warehouse and yard.
• Use the reach truck to perform essential warehouse functions such as order picking, stock organization, and replenishments.
• Ensure proper operation of manual handling equipment in line with the company’s safety standards.
• Perform general warehouse duties as directed by management, including picking, packing, general upkeep of the yard, and assist with inventory tasks.
• Comply with established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:
• Manual handling certificate preferred.
• Reach truck certificate required.
• Counterbalance forklift essential.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting to 15kg.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
