Job Description

Role: Counterbalance/Reach Truck Operator

Salary: €14.50-€15.00 per hour
Duration: Contract
Location: South Dublin

Counterbalance/Reach Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled Counterbalance/Reach Truck Operative who can confidently operate both machines in a high-paced environment. In this role, you will be required to alternate between both types of machinery to meet the dynamic needs of their operation.

You will be expected to confidentially load and unload products for incoming and outgoing shipments. Efficiently moving stock within the warehouse is a priority so you will be expected to support optimal inventory management and adhering to all company safety protocols. This role demands strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to operational safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily FLT (Forklift Truck) inspections, promptly reporting any damage or issues affecting safe operation.
  • Operate the Reach Truck and Counterbalance Forklift in both warehouse and yard areas as needed.
  • Relocate pallets to enhance stock optimization and warehouse flow.
  • Actively promote and adhere to health and safety protocols, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of your colleagues to foster a hazard-free work environment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and perform general warehouse duties as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Physically fit and capable of meeting the role’s demands.
  • Minimum of 6–12 months experience operating Counterbalance and Reach Trucks in a warehouse environment.
  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (required).
  • Valid Reach Forklift License (required).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manual Handling Certification (required).
