Salary: €14.50-€14.85
Duration: Contract with a view to permanency
Location: Dublin South
Hours: Monday to Friday.

Experienced Forklift Driver
Leading company who are one of Irelands largest suppliers in the construction industry are on the lookout for an experienced Forklift Driver who can work Monday to Friday in their busy warehouse. Under instructions of the Warehouse Manager your daily responsibilities will include operating the forklift in a safe and efficient manner. As an experienced forklift operator, you will assist in warehouse operations by picking and packing goods using an RF Scanner via the forklift. You will also be expected to assist with yard duties such loading and unloading material while using the forklift. You will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines and operate equipment safely to help meet daily targets.

Responsibilities:
• Operate the forklift to load/unload deliveries and collections.
• Using the forklift to assist in picking products, put aways & replenishments.
• Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
• Adhere to the companies stringent Health and safety policies.
• Ensure the yard and warehouse is maintained to the companies’ standards.
• Support the overall efficiency of the warehouse by performing tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Receive and check off deliveries to the warehouse, highlighting any discrepancies and ensuring secure, correct, and timely storage of such deliveries in line with health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:
• Forklift License required.
• Reach Truck License Preferred.
• Manual Handling Certificate Required.
• Excellent communication in the English language, both written and verbal.
• Cooperative attitude, strong work ethic and reliable.
• Capable of lifting heavy items and performing manual labour tasks as required.
• Experience using an RF Scanners (Preferred)
