Salary: €29,000-€32,000

Duration: Permanent
Location: South Dublin

Hours: Monday to Friday

Experienced Warehouse Operative

Superb opportunity has recently opened for a Fulltime permanent position at a nationally recognised innovative company who have been operating on the island of Ireland for over 30 years. Join this company that have been involved in providing products to hotels, cinemas, hospitals, and many other sectors. They are seeking an experienced well-rounded individual who can operate the forklift and apply their skills in this challenging yet rewarding environment where nurturing your potential is one of their key values.

As a successful candidate you will be required to hold a valid counterbalance license and to work in their warehouse Monday to Friday. In this role you will take part in a range of tasks from operating the counterbalance to load and unload goods, picking and packing products that will be distributed from the warehouse and take part in inventory tasks such as cycle counts, and stock takes. You will also be expected to follow the company’s health and safety guidelines Aswell as follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities:

• Operate the counterbalance efficiently to load goods for distribution.
• Unloading goods via the counterbalance from delivery trucks ensuring safe handling.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Move and handle valuable equipment safely and securely within the warehouse.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
• Performing general duties as assigned by management, including general warehouse duties.
• Operating manual handling equipment in line with the companies Health & Safety requirements.

Requirements:

• In Date Manual Handling Certificate Preferred.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean warehouse.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (HVAC knowledge a distinct advantage).
• Counterbalance License Essential.
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 15kg.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
