Flatbed Rigid Driver (Full C Licence & HIAB Crane Experience)

Reputable logistics company in Cork is seeking an experienced Flatbed Rigid Driver with a full C Licence and proficiency in operating a HIAB crane. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the safe, timely delivery of goods across Cork and surrounding areas, handling a variety of loads with skill and precision. The position demands a proactive approach to safety, good communication with dispatch and clients, and a dedication to maintaining equipment standards.

Responsibilities:
• Operate a flatbed rigid truck for deliveries, ensuring safe handling and transportation of goods.
• Use the HIAB crane for loading and unloading materials as required, following all safety protocols.
• Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections, reporting and addressing any maintenance needs.
• Follow scheduled routes, delivering goods to multiple sites across Cork and occasionally surrounding regions.
• Maintain thorough and accurate delivery records, logs, and client documentation.
• Communicate efficiently with dispatchers, clients, and team members for effective operations.
• Uphold all relevant driving and safety regulations, focusing on compliance and best practices.
• Engage professionally with customers, ensuring courteous and timely service delivery.

Requirements:
• Valid full C Licence with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrable experience with HIAB crane operation, with relevant certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Irish driving regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong attention to detail, especially regarding vehicle and equipment safety.
• Physical fitness to manage lifting and loading demands safely.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork.
• Dependability and willingness to work flexible hours if needed to meet delivery requirements.
