Forklift Driver – Counterbalance, Reach & PPT Operator

Expanding distribution company is currently expanding its warehouse operation and is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers with Counterbalance, Reach Truck or PPT operating experience to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to secure a long-term position within a busy and professional distribution environment that values reliability, teamwork and progression.

The successful candidates will play a key role within the warehouse operation, supporting the movement, storage and dispatch of goods across the distribution centre. Working within either goods in or goods out, the role will involve operating a variety of MHE equipment while ensuring products are handled safely, accurately and efficiently. The company offers fixed shift patterns with start times of 6:00am, 8:00am and 10:00am, providing stability and consistency for work-life balance.

This position would suit motivated warehouse professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are looking to develop their career within the logistics and supply chain sector. Responsibilities
• Operating Counterbalance, Reach Truck or PPT equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries within the warehouse operation
• Supporting goods in and goods out functions
• Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
• Moving stock accurately throughout the warehouse
• Completing stock checks and inventory tasks when required
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Working towards daily productivity and accuracy targets
• Keeping warehouse areas clean, organised and safe
• Supporting the wider warehouse team with general operational duties

Requirements
• Previous experience operating Counterbalance or Reach Truck or PPT equipment
• Valid forklift licences/certificates in either Reach, Counter or PPT
• Experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment
• Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work within a fast-paced operation
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work one of the fixed shift patterns available
• Willingness to learn and progress within the business
