General Operative
Well-established company based in Santry is seeking a dependable and hard-working General Operative to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis. With a commitment to providing a stable and supportive working environment, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. It presents an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and relevant certifications to secure a long-term role with a respected employer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties within the warehouse. Key tasks will include operating a counterbalance forklift, general manual handling, supporting stock control activities, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workspace. The position is ideal for individuals who thrive in physically active roles and enjoy working in a structured, team-based setting. A valid manual handling certificate and counterbalance forklift licence are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
• Operate counterbalance forklift to transport materials safely and efficiently
• Carry out manual handling of goods as required
• Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries
• Support inventory management and stock rotation processes
• Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with health and safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment as necessary
• Report any operational or safety issues promptly to supervisors

Requirements:
• Valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Up-to-date manual handling certificate
• Strong verbal English communication
• Previous experience in a warehouse or general operative role is desirable
• Good physical fitness and the ability to handle manual tasks
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety practices
• Ability to work reliably as part of a team
• Punctual, organised, and capable of following instructions with minimal supervision
• Willingness to commit to a permanent, full-time role with set hours
