Order Picker

Experienced Order Picker is required to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation based in Citywest. This position is ideally suited to candidates with a background in logistics or distribution who are comfortable working in a high-volume environment. The role involves accurately picking and preparing customer orders using voice-directed picking headsets, ensuring efficiency and precision at all times.

The position operates on a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 08:00 to 16:30, offering a strong work-life balance alongside competitive hourly pay. The warehouse is well-organised and safety-focused, utilising advanced systems including voice picking technology and Power Pallet Trucks (PPT). Suitable candidates must have proven experience using these systems, along with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to meeting productivity deadlines

Responsibilities:
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using voice picking systems
• Operate a Power Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently within the warehouse
• Ensure all orders are completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards
• Conduct regular checks to maintain accuracy and minimise picking errors
• Assist with goods-in and stock replenishment when required
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets
• Report any discrepancies, damages or issues promptly to management

Requirements:
• Previous experience as an Order Picker in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Experience using voice picking systems
• Proven ability to operate a Power Pallet Truck (PPT)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good level of physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Good understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting
• Reliable, punctual and committed to consistent attendance
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
