Salary: €32,000-€36,000
Duration: Full Time
Location: North Dublin

Procurement Coordinator

You will be responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts, managing inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials required for production. You will oversee the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring adherence to company policies and optimising inventory management practices. You’ll also support supplier sourcing efforts, negotiate pricing and contract terms and maintain supplier relationships to secure optimal value.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships while securing competitive pricing for the business.
• Monitor and create purchase requisitions within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
• Identify risks that could impact production schedules and establish contingency plans to minimise disruptions.
• Work closely with cross functional departments to build production plans that meet budget requirements and forecasted demand.
• Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies, procedures and compliance standards.
• Convert approved requisitions into purchase orders and coordinate production scheduling activities.
• Drive efforts to reduce excess inventory, manage reorder levels and support continuous improvement in inventory control.
• Address and resolve procurement related issues promptly to maintain smooth operational performance.
• Maintain system accuracy by updating data and generating reports as required.
• Ensure continuous material supply to support production while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Participate in meetings supplier visits, and relevant business outings when needed.

Requirements
• Demonstrates strong resilience and the ability to excel under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Maintains exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
• Experience in Procurement or similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possesses strong communication and negotiation abilities.
