Procurement Specialist

You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring compliance with procurement policies, achieving cost savings, and maintaining high standards of quality and service. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs and objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and service.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favourable outcomes.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolving any issues that arise to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
