Working as part of a dedicated logistics team, this position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced rigid driver seeking stability, progression, and a supportive working environment. The role involves a flexible schedule of 5 days over 7, alternating weekend work to allow every second weekend off..

This is a physically demanding role, suited to candidates who are comfortable with manual handling and active working conditions. In return, a competitive annual salary of €46,000 is offered, alongside a tax-free daily meal allowance. Additional incentives include overtime pay for the sixth day worked in a week, a robust pension plan, life assurance through a death in service scheme and access to an employee assistance programme (EAP). To successfully pass the selection process, you will need to complete and pass both a driving assessment and an interview.

Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a rigid vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and transport regulations
• Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled, ensuring timely service
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Accurately complete paperwork and delivery documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional image
• Adhere to company health and safety standards at all times
• Participate in ongoing training and development sessions

Requirements:
• Valid and up-to-date rigid truck licence (Category C)
• CPC certification and digital tachograph card
• Proven experience in a similar driving role preferred
• Flexibility to work every second weekend
• Good communication skills and a customer-first approach
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Willingness to take on additional duties and extra shifts when needed
