Job Description

Role: Rigid Driver

Salary: €865 per week gross

Duration: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: North Dublin

Working  a 5 days over 7 schedule, you will enjoy the variety and flexibility this role offers. Start times will vary between 5 am and 9 am, with most drivers beginning their day around 5 am. This role requires punctuality, reliability, and the ability to handle early morning starts.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate a rigid truck for the delivery of goods.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to designated locations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
  • Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements:

  • Valid rigid truck driving license.
  • Proven experience as a rigid driver.
  • Excellent driving record with no recent traffic violations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning starts.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items if required.
  • High level of reliability and punctuality.
