Rigid Driver

Logistics and distribution operation based in Greenogue is seeking an experienced Rigid Driver to join a busy transport team. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekend work required, making it ideal for drivers seeking consistency and routine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to business customers across Dublin and surrounding areas. This role requires strong time management, excellent customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining high delivery standards. Drivers will represent the business professionally while ensuring goods are delivered safely, accurately and on time. Previous experience in multi-drop distribution is highly desirable, particularly within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:
• Complete daily multi-drop deliveries to business customers
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness at all times
• Follow scheduled delivery routes and delivery timeframes
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers
• Adhere to all road safety and transport regulations
• Communicate effectively with transport planners and warehouse staff
• Ensure deliveries are completed in line with company procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the assigned vehicle

Requirements:
• Full clean C driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Previous rigid driving experience essential
• Experience completing multi-drop deliveries preferred
• Good knowledge of Dublin and surrounding routes
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused approach
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Manual handling awareness and ability to assist with loading/unloading
