Role: Rigid Driver
Salary: €750 – €800 net take-home per week
Duration: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Dublin 22
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

This is a Monday to Friday role offering consistent hours from 08:00to 17:00, delivering goods to business customers throughout Dublin and the surrounding areas. The position offers an excellent work-life balance with no weekend work and a competitive weekly take-home pay of €750 – €800.

This role involves driving a modern curtain-side rigid truck completing business-to-business deliveries. The majority of deliveries are straightforward “drop and go” deliveries, with most customer sites unloading the vehicle using their own equipment. On occasion, you will use a manual pallet truck and tail lift to complete deliveries safely and efficiently. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional driver looking for a stable role with minimal physical handling and a reliable daily schedule.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a curtain-side rigid truck on scheduled delivery routes.
• Complete business-to-business deliveries across Dublin and surrounding counties.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections and report any defects.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Secure loads correctly before and during transport.
• Use a manual pallet truck and tail lift when required.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location.
• Follow all road traffic legislation and company health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delivery updates or delays.
• Represent the company professionally while on customer sites.

Requirements
• Full clean Category C (Rigid) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience driving rigid trucks.
• Experience completing multi-drop or business-to-business deliveries is desirable.
• Comfortable using a manual pallet truck and tail lift when required.
• Good geographical knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily delivery schedules.
