Role: Rigid Driver (Full EU C Licence)
Salary: €47000 per annum
Duration: Five Days Over Seven Rota
Location: Rathcoole

Rigid Driver

Opportunity for an experienced Rigid Driver to join one of Irelands established transport and distribution company’s based in Rathcoole. The company specialises in distribution, transportation and logistics across Rathcoole and beyond.

The role requires a reliable, punctual, well organised driver who can work independently and in a team with a proactive approach to delivering our services to our nationwide clientele. Driver must be confident and have great customer service as a representative of us on the road. Confident in delivering palletised goods, operating a tail lift and manual pallet truck.

Responsibilities
• Complete scheduled deliveries across designated routes
• Ensure safe loading, unloading and secure transportation of freight
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records using our electronic system.
• Adhere to all road transportation regulations and company procedures.
• Use company systems and technology to support freight tracking and delivery updates

Requirements
• Full EU Category C driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Experience in multi-drop distribution operation preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Good geographical knowledge of Ireland advantageous
• Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
