Rigid Driver

Highly reliable and professional rigid driver is sought for a full-time, permanent role based in Park West, Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who values routine, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will enjoy a structured Monday to Friday schedule with regular hours from 08:30 to 17:30. Flexibility to start earlier or finish later may be required from time to time —no weekend work is expected.

This role will suit a driver who thrives on the simplicity of A to B deliveries, with minimal loading or unloading involved. Working as part of a small, dedicated logistics team, the driver will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient daily delivery operations, ensuring goods are transported safely and on time across various client sites around Ireland. All vehicles are kept in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:
• Operate a rigid truck for daily deliveries between designated locations
• Conduct A to B deliveries with a focus on punctuality and customer service
• Ensure all goods are delivered in accordance with company and client expectations
• Adhere to all road safety, legal, and compliance standards
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Complete delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and the wider logistics team
• Demonstrate flexibility with occasional early starts or late finishes as needed

Requirements:
• Valid C licence and up-to-date CPC certification
• Digital tachograph card
• Minimum 1 year of rigid driving experience, ideally within Ireland or the UK
• Strong knowledge of the Irish road network and traffic regulations
• Excellent time management and reliability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
• Flexible attitude towards working hours (no weekends required)
