Role: Rigid Driver (Multidrop)

Salary: €865 per week

Duration: Permanent

Location: North Dublin

Rigid Driver (Multidrop)

Leading international logistics company specialising in food and beverage distribution is seeking a dedicated Rigid Driver to join their team in North Dublin. The ideal candidate will have experience in multi-drop deliveries and be committed to providing exceptional customer service.

As a successful candidate, you will be the holder of a full, clean Irish or EU C-Class driving license, CPC and Tachograph cards, and a proven track record of safe and timely driving. Experience driving C-Class vehicles on Irish roads is a plus. If you are reliable, dedicated, and passionate about delivering excellent service, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately sorting and unloading cargo at designated delivery points.
  • Delivering multi-drop deliveries within specified timeframes.
  • Optimizing delivery routes using navigational tools to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
  • Adhering strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies, prioritizing safety.
  • Performing daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance to ensure the vehicle’s optimal performance.
  • Maintaining open and professional communication with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading cargo, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining accurate delivery records

Requirements:

  • CPC & Tachograph cards
  • Full EU/Irish C-Class license
  • A level of physicality to assist in unloading
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience providing multidrop deliveries
  • Experience driving rigid trucks on Irish roads
  • Resilience to work early shifts
  • Dedication to safe driving
  • Customer-service attitude
  • Ability to start work at 4am
