Role: Rigid Truck Driver
Salary: €16.65 per hour, rising to €17.65 per hour after 9 months
Duration: Full-time
Location: North Dublin

Benefits:

• Daily meal allowance of €17.92 (tax-free).
• Additional allowance up to €400 per month for the return of boxes.
• Potential earning up to €50,000 annually.
• Yearly bonus of €1,500 for safe driving.
• Additional bonus of €105 for the 6th day worked in a 7-day period.

Rigid Truck Driver

Renowned logistics company seeks a motivated and reliable Rigid Truck Driver to join our North Dublin team. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers to advance their careers in a stable and rewarding environment. New employees will spend their initial week in the warehouse, focusing on order picking tasks to develop a comprehensive understanding of the operations. During the second week, they will observe an experienced driver to familiarize themselves with routes and company protocols, ensuring a smooth transition into their driving role.

Responsibilities:

• Starting your workday early at 2 AM to guarantee on-time deliveries.
• Driving trucks safely to transport goods to their correct destinations.
• Following all road rules and company safety guidelines.
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Returning delivery containers promptly and safely to earn extra pay.
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and logs.
• Offering excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Working overtime when needed to earn bonus pay.
• Spending the first week gathering items in the warehouse.
• Learning from an experienced driver during the second week.

Requirements:

• Valid rigid truck driving license.
• Proven experience as a rigid truck driver or in a similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to consistently commence work at 2 AM.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
• High attention to detail and a strong safety focus.
