A world Leader in the global food service market who value helping others are looking to hire a multi Drop Rigid Delivery Driver to join their existing dynamic and successful distribution team in Cork.

Responsibilities

• Operating a rigid truck in the Cork area to deliver and collect product from the hub to customers.
• Conduct routine pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Follow route schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery products.
• Collaborate with the helper to utilise satellite navigation systems for route optimisation.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo either manually or using the appropriate equipment.
• Deliver goods accurately and on schedule whilst building a positive relationship with the customers.
• Be able to coordinate with members of the team such as the dispatch team and senior management as required.
• Address any delivery or collection issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and reporting any unresolved matters to the Operations Manager

Requirements:

• Hold a Rigid Driving Licence (Category C), CPC, and Tachograph card, ensuring all are up to date.
• Proven experience in a similar position
• Good physical condition to handle loading and unloading cargo as needed.
• Familiarity with transport regulations and health & safety standards.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to adhere to schedules reliably.
