Rigid Truck Driver

Leading logistics provider based in Cork is seeking an experienced Rigid Truck Driver to join its busy transport operations team. Responsibilities:

Operate rigid trucks for the delivery and collection of goods in line with scheduled routes
Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols
Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collect necessary documentation
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site
Adhere to driving time regulations and company policies at all times
Communicate effectively with transport managers regarding route changes or delays

Requirements:

Valid Irish C Licence (Rigid) with full CPC certification and up-to-date digital tachograph card
Commercial driving experience with rigids
Strong knowledge of road transport legislation and safe driving practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Good geographical knowledge of Cork and the Munster area
Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays or early starts when required
