Opportunity for a dedicated Rigid Truck Driver to join a well-established and fast-growing FMCG company based in North Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver with a full EU C licence who is looking to build a long-term career in logistics and distribution. The company is a leading supplier to the hospitality sector, delivering high-quality products to hotels, bars, and restaurants across the Leinster region. You’ll play a key role in the daily operations of the business. You will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods efficiently and safely across Dublin and surrounding areas. The role involves 8 to 15 multi-drop deliveries per day, so previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial. Your day will typically begin at 5:30 AM, and you’ll be expected to carry out pre-departure vehicle checks, plan your route effectively and ensure that all deliveries are completed on time. Excellent customer service skills are also important, as you’ll be representing the company at each delivery point.
This position offers a structured work-life balance, with a five-day working week spread over seven days, including every second weekend off. On the alternate week, you’ll benefit from two midweek days off, giving you flexibility and time to recharge. Responsibilities:
Carry out daily multi-drop deliveries across Dublin and the Leinster region, ensuring all goods are delivered safely and on time.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet tight schedules and customer expectations.
Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the truck is maintained in a clean and roadworthy condition.
Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, team members, and customers.
Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including tachograph and CPC compliance
Requirements:
Full and clean EU Category C Licence.
Valid and up-to-date CPC card and tachograph card.
Proven experience in a multi-drop delivery role, ideally within the FMCG or logistics sector is beneficial.
Strong geographical knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas.
Valid EU passport or work permit.
Good standard of spoken English and excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a demanding delivery schedule with 8–15 drops per day.
