Job Description

Join a dynamic team as an SAP Supply Chain Specialist at a leading medical devices company based in Dublin 12. This role offers a competitive salary of €45,000 – €55,000 and provides an excellent benefits package, including 25 days of holiday, company health insurance, a pension contribution plan, and onsite parking. As an SAP Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing supply chain operations using SAP ECC (HANA). You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure efficient supply chain processes, from demand forecasting and inventory management to supplier coordination and quality checks. This position requires hands-on proficiency in SAP with a focus on materials management, warehousing, purchasing, and logistics transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in SAP, specifically in materials management, warehousing, purchasing, and logistics transactions within SAP ECC (HANA).
  • Utilise SAP supply chain management tools for supply and demand forecasting.
  • Monitor and manage MRP recommendations, converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders within SAP.
  • Manage inventory levels, effectively communicating any supply chain issues to relevant personnel as they arise.
  • Perform Goods Inwards Certificate of Analysis checks within SAP.
  • Schedule incoming deliveries from both internal and external suppliers.
  • Report the receipt of exempt medicinal products to HPRA.
  • Order raw materials and liaise with suppliers via SAP MM.
  • Address quality and warehouse issues using SAP WM.
  • Participate in production and planning calls as required.
  • Update pricing information records as needed.
  • Maintain and update SAP master data as necessary.
  • Assist in the review and documentation of relevant SOPs and participate in quality audits.
  • Maintain supplier records (Bona Fides).
  • Respond to internal quality or regulatory queries.
  • Provide support and full coverage for the Country Supply Chain & Demand Planning Executive.
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with SAP reporting and analytics.
  • Requirements
  • Proficiency in SAP with a focus on materials management, warehousing, purchasing, and logistics. Excellent command of SAP transaction codes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in supply chain management within the medical devices or healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to participate in and contribute to cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with HPRA regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Experience with quality audits and SOP documentation.
