In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities within the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high standards in all operations. You will play a key role in managing inventory, coordinating with logistics, and supervising a team of dedicated operatives. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your skills in warehouse management and leadership will be highly valued and rewarded.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Operate the counterbalance forklift to safely move, stack, and organise products within the warehouse.
• Supervise and provide mentorship to junior warehouse staff, offering guidance and training as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels effectively to ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate the timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Uphold health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures.

Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in a similar warehouse operative role, ideally in a senior or supervisory position.
• Valid counterbalance forklift certificate is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
• Willingness to work Mon to Fri 09:00 – 17:30, including Saturdays if required.
