Role: Stock Controller
Salary: €18 per hour
Duration: Full-time, permanent position
Location: North Dublin
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stock Controller to join a leading FMCG warehouse in North Dublin. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of €18 and an advantageous work schedule with early finishes most days, while still being paid for a full day. The role is ideal for someone with strong experience in stock control and proficiency in Excel at an intermediate to advanced level. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting the overall warehouse operations.
Working within a busy and dynamic FMCG environment, the Stock Controller will ensure that stock levels are maintained, deliveries are accurate, and that the system data is correctly managed. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has excellent organisational skills.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily stock levels within the FMCG warehouse.
Ensure accurate recording of stock movements, both inbound and outbound.
Utilise Excel at an intermediate to advanced level for stock control and reporting purposes.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely stock replenishments.
Monitor stock discrepancies and investigate any variances.
Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure efficient stock flow.
Maintain and update stock databases, ensuring data accuracy.
Prepare reports and stock analyses for management.
Assist in stock audits and cycle counts.
Proactively suggest improvements in stock management processes to enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Stock Controller, preferably within an FMCG or warehouse environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level (essential).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with stock management systems and software is a plus.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
