Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies tailored to organisational goals.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms and value.
• Monitor industry trends and assess risks to maintain a resilient supply chain.
• Ensure contracts meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
• Build and nurture strong supplier partnerships, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Incorporate sustainability principles into procurement strategies and operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to procurement teams, enhancing team capability.
• Analyse procurement data to support strategic decisions and process improvements.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
• Demonstrable experience in procurement or commercial management, preferably in a high-growth or complex environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement practices, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for managing diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Track record of implementing sustainability-driven procurement strategies.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and technology.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Leadership qualities and experience in team development and management.
• CIPS qualification or an equivalent credential is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
