Location: South Dublin

Supply Chain Assistant

Long standing organisation with experience delivering specialist supply chain solutions, they have developed an industry-leading ownership & supply chain optimisation Model. The team maintains strong procurement relationships with key manufacturers, ensuring seamless access to essential products. Their mission is to continuously optimise partners’ distribution requirements through innovative products and services. Striving to meet both vendor and customer needs through efficient supply chain management, extensive product knowledge and value-added solutions, delivered profitably by dedicated and professional employees.

The vision of the Supply Chain team is to create a streamlined operation that ensures continuous supply to all channels while maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will provide support to the supply chain and product manager in day-to-day operations, as well as in the design, documentation and implementation of new solutions. You will be involved in supply chain activities, which include channel operations, demand forecasting, order management, material requirements planning, purchasing, import/export processes, inbound logistics, warehousing, value-added services, distribution and reverse logistics.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate critical daily supply chain activities, liaising with key suppliers, customers and internal account managers.
• Manage daily shipment planning and customer stock counts to ensure weekly KPI targets are achieved.
• Oversee stock purchasing and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Handle vendor management and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Prepare and deliver internal and external reports on supply chain performance.
• Assist the Supply Chain and Product Manager in developing and reporting performance metrics, conducting root cause analysis and identifying actions and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to defining and documenting supply chain strategy and operational plans.
• Collaborate on designing, implementing and measuring multi-channel supply chain models aligned with business objectives.

Requirements
• Experience in supply chain-related roles.
• Proficient in MS Excel and experienced with ERP systems.
• Strong ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities with strong analytical and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy and thorough execution in all tasks.
