Transport Co-Ordinator

A premier haulage company based in Southwest Dublin is seeking to add an experienced and ambi-tious Transport Coordinator to their team. This role is responsible for supporting the transport of trailers between warehouses and customer sites. The key focus of the role is to ensure the efficient and profitable coordination of materials transported.
As a Transport Co-Ordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and services. This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
You will be responsible for coordinating transport operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and main-taining effective communication with clients and team members. Experience in the haulage industry is a must. This role will work closely with the managing director. The ideal candidate will provide leader-ship and foster a collaborative work culture across transport team.

Responsibilities:
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, and customers to achieve mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track the shipment of products according to customer requirements
• Keep logs and records of inbound and outbound shipments into the warehouse
• Prepare accurate reports on executed orders for management and customers
• Plan efficient routes and coordinate with drivers
• General administrative work

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a logistics or transport coordinator
• Solid customer service experience
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Outstanding organisational and coordination abilities
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
