Van Driver/Counterbalance Forklift Operator

Seeking a dependable and experienced individual to join a growing team based in Dublin 15 as a van driver and counterbalance forklift operator. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines van driving duties with warehouse responsibilities. You’ll be joining a company that offers a competitive salary and stable working hours.

Your primary duties will include operating a company van to carry out scheduled deliveries and collections across various locations, ensuring all goods are transported safely and in accordance with road safety regulations. In the warehouse, you will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload deliveries, manage stock levels through regular checks and assist with general warehouse tasks such as packing, organising inventory and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. You’ll be expected to work closely with other team members to ensure smooth coordination between transport and warehouse functions.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a full EU Category B driving licence with a clean driving record. A valid counterbalance forklift licence is essential, along with previous experience in a similar role involving both driving and warehouse work. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Good communication and a commitment to safety and efficiency are also key to succeeding in this position. This is a Monday to Friday, 39-hour week position. With 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00-16:00 on Fridays.

Responsibilities:
• Operate a company van to carry out deliveries and collections across various locations.
• Manoeuvre a counterbalance forklift safely through the warehouse.
• Assist in general warehouse operations including packing, organising stock and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
• Conduct regular stock checks and help maintain inventory records.
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to health and safety, vehicle maintenance and warehouse operations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure high standards of service.

Requirements:
• Full EU category B Licence with a clean driving record.
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Proven experience in a similar role involving both driving and warehouse duties.
• Comfortable with a mix of delivery/collection driving and hands-on warehouse tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of work.
