Opportunity for an experienced van driver based in Dublin 22. The role involves making multi-drop deliveries across various locations, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of goods. This is a contract position running until January, ideal for drivers looking for short-term work with the possibility of gaining further contracts in the future. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, particularly in multi-drop delivery environments, and will be comfortable navigating around Dublin and surrounding areas.
The position requires a strong focus on customer service, as well as a good understanding of route planning to optimise delivery efficiency. Candidates will be responsible for handling the vehicle and goods with care, maintaining delivery schedules, and dealing with any delivery-related issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct multi-drop deliveries in Dublin and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed within specified timeframes.
• Safely load, transport, and unload goods, maintaining the quality and safety of items.
• Follow route plans to ensure maximum efficiency in delivery operations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues.
• Handle customer interactions with professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
• Conduct vehicle checks to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues.

Requirements:
• Valid Clean Full EU driving licence with experience driving vans.
• Proven experience in multi-drop deliveries, particularly in urban settings.
• Good knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas.
• Experience using handheld scanners
• Solid experience using google maps and technology literate
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle goods with care and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, particularly when dealing with customers.
• Flexibility in working hours to meet delivery schedules.
